Don’t use profanity. This includes the term “tea bagger.”

Don’t be incendiary or tasteless. Those qualities are subjective, of course, and our editors will be the arbiters.

Do not identify yourself in the main content area of the article content form. Only by enforcing this rule can the moderators prevent unscrupulous commenters from falsely identifying themselves as someone they are not.

Don't type in all caps. It is considered the Internet equivalent of shouting.

In sports articles, do not criticize officiating.

Remember, moderators are not allowed to edit any article comments. If an article comment fails any of the above criteria, the entire comment will be deleted.

Jarrard - Frick

LATHAM — Sydney Jean Jarrard and Arthur Leroy Frick III were married on July 14, 2012, at The Pruyn House in Latham. The ceremony was officiated by Jeff Binder.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Kelly Jarrard of Cadyville. The bridegroom is the son of Arthur and Nancy Frick Jr. of Spring Hill, Tenn.

The maid of honor was Kate Bulluck of Dannemora, sister of the bride and David Truscott, of New York City, was the best man. Jayme Kaplan and Rebekah Crespo, both of New York City, were bridesmaids and Piotr Kuczynski and Ray Crespo, also both of New York City, were the groomsmen.

The bride was given in marriage by her mother and father.

Sydney Jean Jarrard Frick is a 2002 graduate of Saranac Central High School. She graduated from Plattsburgh State in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in English and in 2008 from Pace University, New York City, with a master's degree in publishing. She is self-employed as a writer and marketing consultant.

Arthur Frick III graduated from Spring Hill High School, Columbia, Tenn., in 2000. He graduated in 2006 from Parson's School of Design, New York City, with a bachelor's degree in fine arts. He is employed by Edenred North America in Newton, Mass.

After a 10-day wedding trip to Paris, France, the Fricks reside in Portsmouth, N.H.
