HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. — Dr. and Mrs. John (Franny) Kemp of Highlands Ranch, Colo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren, of Ipswich, Mass., to Evan Peck of Medford, Mass. He is the son of Dana and Marcia Peck of Plattsburgh.
Lauren Kemp graduated in 2004 from Thunder Ridge High School in Highlands Ranch, Colo., and in 2008 from Gordon College, Wenham, Mass., with a B.S. degree in secondary education and English literature. She teaches eighth-grade English language arts at Ipswich Middle School in Ipswich.
Evan Peck graduated in 2004 from Plattsburgh High School and in 2008 from Gordon College with a B.S. degree in computer science. He is a Ph.D. candidate at Tufts University researching brain-computer interfaces.
A July wedding is planned.
