PLATTSBURGH — Debbie Thwaits and Donald Papier were married Oct. 4, 2009, at the Valcour Conference Center in Plattsburgh. The Hon. Judge John Snow officiated.
The bride was escorted by her parents, Mary and Robert Duhaime of Tupper Lake.
The bridegroom is the son of the late Bernard and Selma Papier.
Attendants were the bride's daughters, Stephanie Lasher and her husband, Dustin, of Plattsburgh, and Amanda Mary; and the bridegroom's daughter Megan Weisman, and her husband, David, of Philadelphia, Pa.
A reception was held at the Valcour Center, and the couple honeymooned in Sanibel Island, Fla.
Donald Papier is a pharmacist, and works freelance in a number of practice settings, and Debbie Papier is employed by New York State Department of Corrections in Ray Brook.
The Papiers reside in Saranac Lake.
