MOOERS — Dean and Lisa Surprenant of 1965 Route 11, Mooers, celebrated their 25th anniversary Sept. 22, 2009. Their daughters, Brittany and Brooke, along with the couple's parents, hosted a party Oct. 17 at the Veteran of Foreign Wars post in Champlain. Brittany surprised her parents with a video of a celebration of the couple's 25 years together.
Dean Surprenant and Lisa Sterling were married Sept. 22, 1984, in St. Patrick's Church, Rouses Point by the Rev. Albert Giroux. Their wedding attendants were Darlene (Surprenant) Coulum, sister of the bridegroom; and David Sterling, the bride's brother.
Dean Surprenant is employed at Plattco. Lisa Surprenant is a self-employed hairdresser.
Their daughters, Brittany and Brooke, live in Mooers.
The Surprenants enjoy spending time with family and friends, NASCAR racing and family vacations.
