ST. REGIS FALLS — Charles E. and Valerie Bishop of St. Regis Falls announce the engagement of their daughter, Nikki Lynn, to John A. N. Farnsworth, son of Dave and Diane Farnsworth of Morrisonville.
Nikki Bishop graduated in 2003 from St. Regis Falls Central School and then attended Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, graduating in 2007 with a Bachelor's of Art degree in chemical engineering. She is attending the University of Boulder in Colorado and will graduate in December 2011 with a doctorate in chemical engineering.
John Farnsworth graduated in 2002 from Saranac Central School and then attended Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, graduating in 2006 with a Bachelor's of Art degree in aeronautical engineering. He is continuing at Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute and will graduate in December 2010 with a doctorate in aeronautical engineering.
The maternal grandparents of the bride are Maurice and Janet Richards, and the paternal grandparents are Charles and Arlene Bishop, all of St. Regis Falls.
The paternal grandparents of the bridegroom are Barbara Farnsworth and the late Albert Farnsworth and the maternal grandparents are John and Joanne Fray.
The wedding will take place on July 17, 2010, at St. Mary's Church in Champlain.
