Don’t use profanity. This includes the term “tea bagger.”

Don’t be incendiary or tasteless. Those qualities are subjective, of course, and our editors will be the arbiters.

Do not identify yourself in the main content area of the article content form. Only by enforcing this rule can the moderators prevent unscrupulous commenters from falsely identifying themselves as someone they are not.

Don't type in all caps. It is considered the Internet equivalent of shouting.

In sports articles, do not criticize officiating.

Remember, moderators are not allowed to edit any article comments. If an article comment fails any of the above criteria, the entire comment will be deleted.

Osborne - Tatu Jr.

LOWVILLE - Diana Marie Osborne and Michael Joseph Tatu Jr. were married July 7, 2012, at Tug Hill Vineyards, Lowville, by Chaplain David Crumpton. The ceremony was followed by a reception. Music was provided by Ryan Grant (acoustic guitar and vocals) during the ceremony and cocktail hour, and Twin Towers Music was DJ for the reception.

The bride is the daughter of Todd and Robin Osborne of Vernon, formerly of AuSable Forks. The bridegroom is the son of Barbara Tatu of Auburn, Maine, and the late Michael Joseph Tatu.

Rachael Osborne of Morrisonville, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Best man was Kiel Lombardo of Tampa, Fla.

Bridesmaids were Katherine O'Dett of Watertown; Lovely Barcebal of Portland, Maine; and Lauren Beale of Farmington, Maine, and Alexaiya Backman of Temple, Maine, the bridegroom's sisters. Flower girls were Alizay Tatu and Maddison Tatu, nieces of the bridegroom.

Ushers were Ryan Soutter of New York City; Derek Goforth of Oxford, Maine; and Jason Tatu and Nicholas Tatu, both of Lewiston, Maine, the bridegroom's brothers. Ring bearer was Jason Tatu, nephew of the bridegroom.

Diana Marie Tatu is the granddaughter of Pearl Maicus of AuSable Forks, Allan and Mary Osborne of AuSable Forks, and the late Paul Maicus. She graduated from AuSable Valley High School, Clintonville, in 2004 and Plattsburgh State in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism.

Michael Tatu Jr., also son of Carl and Joanna Backman of Temple, Maine, graduated from Oxford Hills High School, South Paris, Maine, in 2000 and is attending Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester, N.H. He has been serving in the U.S. Army since 2003 and is stationed at U.S. Army, Fort Drum.

The Tatus reside in Fort Drum.
