MORRISONVILLE — Sarah Myrtle Criss and Nicholas Steven Heywood were married April 21, 2012, in St. Alexander’s Church, Morrisonville by the Rev. Scott Seymour.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Callene Criss of Morrisonville. The bridegroom is the son of Randy and Julie Heywood of Plattsburgh.
Emilee Collins of Plattsburgh, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Best man was Randy Heywood, the bridegroom’s father.
Bridesmaids were Stephanie Blake of Plattsburgh, sister of the bridegroom; Tonya Whitney of Plattsburgh, the bride’s aunt; Nichole Garrand of Plattsburgh; Jennifer Blake of Plattsburgh; Emily Heywood of Saranac, cousin of the bridegroom; Rebecca Heywood of Saranac, the bridegroom’s cousin; and Alexis Criss of Plattsburgh, cousin of the bride. Flower girl was Faith Whitney, the bride’s cousin.
Ushers were David Blake of Plattsburgh, brother-in-law of the bridegroom; Jamie Recor of Saranac, the bridegroom’s uncle; Jayson Criss of Plattsburgh, brother of the bride; Donald Lemere of Plattsburgh; Ethan Quantock of Plattsburgh; Mark Lubic Jr. of Plattsburgh; and Gage Bourdeau of Plattsburgh, cousin of the bridegroom. Ring bearer was Talan Reeves.
Readers were Wade Whitney, Michele Criss and Darlene Goddeau.
A reception was held at the Rainbow Banquet Hall with music provided by The Bootleg Band.
Sarah Myrtle Heywood graduated from Beekmantown Central School in 2009. She is employed at Tonya Whitney Klipper Korner, Plattsburgh.
Nicholas Steven Heywood graduated from Peru Central School in 2007 and Plattsburgh State in 2012 with a childhood education grades one through six bachelor of Science degree. He is employed at Warren Tire Service Center in Plattsburgh.
After a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the Heywoods reside in Plattsburgh.
