Don’t assail or impugn an identifiable individual or group. If you have that kind of criticism, sign your name and submit it as a Letter to the Editor. (There is some leeway on this in connection with public officials, but it is not unconditional.)

Don’t use profanity. This includes the term “tea bagger.”

Don’t be incendiary or tasteless. Those qualities are subjective, of course, and our editors will be the arbiters.

Do not identify yourself in the main content area of the article content form. Only by enforcing this rule can the moderators prevent unscrupulous commenters from falsely identifying themselves as someone they are not.

Don't type in all caps. It is considered the Internet equivalent of shouting.

In sports articles, do not criticize officiating.

Remember, moderators are not allowed to edit any article comments. If an article comment fails any of the above criteria, the entire comment will be deleted.

We monitor comments Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Approval of comments outside these times may be delayed.

Rynkowski - Herrling

AUBURN - Lindsay Edenn Rynkowski and Joshua Luke Herrling were married May 11, 2012, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Auburn, by Rev. Louis Vasile. The ceremony was followed by a reception at The Lodge at Welch Allyn, Skaneateles Falls.

The bride is the daughter of David and Kathy Rynkowski of Lake Shore Road., Chazy. The bridegroom is the son of Timothy and Cathy Herrling of Depot Road, Auburn.

Matron of honor was Kristen Delisle of Cadyville, sister of the bride. Best man was Joel Herrling of Frances Street., Auburn, brother of the bridegroom.

Bridesmaid was Elizabeth Herrling of Depot Road., Auburn, sister of the bridegroom. Ushers were Justin Delisle of Cadyville, brother-in-law of the bride and Stewart Wilson of Chippewa Bay.

Readers were Ann McNeil of Lyon Mountain, aunt of the bride, Heidi Mosler of Middletown, and Elizabeth Herrling of Auburn, sister of the bridegroom.

Lindsay Herrling graduated from Chazy Central Rural School in 2000 and SUNY Brockport in 2004 with degrees in psychology and elementary education. She graduated from Plattsburgh State in 2007 with a degree in childhood special education and is employed by the Union Springs Central School District in Cayuga.

Joshua Herrling graduated from Jordan/Elbridge Central School in 2000 and SUNY Brockport in 2004 with a degree in business management and accounting. He is employed by Buckeye Pipeline, Auburn.

The couple met while attending SUNY Brockport and were married on the bride's parents' 39th wedding anniversary.

The Herrlings reside on South Seward Avenue., Auburn. A wedding trip is planned for January 2013.
