Don’t assail or impugn an identifiable individual or group. If you have that kind of criticism, sign your name and submit it as a Letter to the Editor. (There is some leeway on this in connection with public officials, but it is not unconditional.)

Don’t use profanity. This includes the term “tea bagger.”

Don’t be incendiary or tasteless. Those qualities are subjective, of course, and our editors will be the arbiters.

Do not identify yourself in the main content area of the article content form. Only by enforcing this rule can the moderators prevent unscrupulous commenters from falsely identifying themselves as someone they are not.

Don't type in all caps. It is considered the Internet equivalent of shouting.

In sports articles, do not criticize officiating.

Remember, moderators are not allowed to edit any article comments. If an article comment fails any of the above criteria, the entire comment will be deleted.

Ross - Stanley

CROWN POINT — Marijane Ross and Andrew Stanley were married on July 28, 2012, at Sacred Heart Chruch, in Crown Point by Father William Muench.

The bride is the daughter of Carl and Debra Ross of Crown Point. The bridegroom is the son of Paul and Mary Stanley of Witherbee.

Jonalee Ross of Crown Point, was maid of honor and Carla Malone was matron of honor. Adam Skinner of Crown Point, was the bridegroom's best man.

Bridesmaids were Maria Malone, Hillary Price, Kimberly VanVoorhis and Kimberly Prewitt.

Ushers were Dan Carter, Nick Popp, Kevin Jessey, David Potter and Dustin Salerno.

Readers were Mary Hope McGinness and Sara Stanley.

The bride was escorted by her father, Carl.

A reception was held at the Penfield Museum in Ironville. Music was provided by Drew Malone, pianist, the bride's nephew.

Marijane graduated from Crown Point Central in 2007, and is a graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh in 2011, with a degree in Childhood Education. She is a Pre-K Teacher for St. Mary's School in Ticonderoga.

Andrew graduated from Moriah School in 2006, and attended Clinton Community College. He is employed by Riznick Construction in Crown Point.

The couple resides in Crown Point.
