ELLENBURG — Amy Smith and Jason Ribeiro were married June 30, 2012, in St. Edmunds, Ellenburg, by the Rev. Ted Crosby.
The bride is the daughter of Brent and Cathy Smith of Ellenburg Center. The bridegroom is the son of Ramiro and Paula Ribeiro of Morrisonville.
Melissa Smith of Dannemora, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Best man was Ramiro Ribeiro Jr. of Morrisonville, the bridegroom’s brother.
Bridesmaids were Tia McMahon of Florida and Keelia Smith of Dannemora, sisters of the bride; Nikki Jarvis of Plattsburgh; and April Ribeiro of Morrisonville, sister-in-law. Flower girl was Ava Hogle of Dannemora, the bride’s niece.
Ushers were Bojan Brkovic of Vermont; Ian Fleury and Will Corrigan, both of Plattsburgh; and Doug Johnson of Vermont. Ring bearer was Aiden Baltes of Dannemora, nephew of the bride.
Readers were Paula George; and Catarina Quinonez, the bridegroom’s cousin. Gifts were presented by Maria “Nicas” Ribeiro, aunt of the bridegroom; and Joao Ribeiro, the bridegroom’s uncle.
A reception was held at the Malone Golf Club.
Amy Ribeiro graduated from Northern Adirondack High School and Plattsburgh State with a degree in child and family services. She is employed at Behavioral Health Services North as a program supervisor of Healthy Families Clinton County/Early Advantages Home Visiting Program.
Jason Ribeiro graduated from Beekmantown High School and CV-TEC with a certificate in carpentry. He is a store manager at Rite Aid.
After a wedding trip to Lake George, the Ribeiros reside at 149 Mason St., Morrisonville.
