Don’t use profanity. This includes the term “tea bagger.”

Don’t be incendiary or tasteless. Those qualities are subjective, of course, and our editors will be the arbiters.

Do not identify yourself in the main content area of the article content form. Only by enforcing this rule can the moderators prevent unscrupulous commenters from falsely identifying themselves as someone they are not.

Don't type in all caps. It is considered the Internet equivalent of shouting.

In sports articles, do not criticize officiating.

Remember, moderators are not allowed to edit any article comments. If an article comment fails any of the above criteria, the entire comment will be deleted.

SAN DIEGO, CA. — Melanie Marcy Douglas and Curtis Major were married April 7, 2012 in Cabos San Lucas, Mexico by Melanies life long best friend Brad Miller.

The bride is the daughter of Ron & Gail Douglas of Peru, NY. The bridegroom is the son of Tom Major of Gualala, CA. & the late Laura Godshall.

Kim Alford of San Diego, CA. was the maid of honor. Best man was Nicholas Major of Gualala, CA., the bridegrooms brother.

Bridemaids were: Monica Saare, Katie McMullen, Danielle Hazard, Jennifer Plente & Varessa Lebsack.

Ushers were Ron Douglas, Jr., brother of the bride, Gregory Sthl, Brett Holrnan & Kasey Hoffler. The bride was escorted by her father.

A reception was held at the Hola Grand Faro, Los Cabos on the white sandey beach, the reception began as the full moon arose over the Sea of Cortez.

Melanie Douglas graduated from Peru Central School in 2000, she also attended Clinton Community College, as well as City College in San Diego. She has a degree in massage therapy and is now currently working as a nurse recruiter for AMN Health Care in San Diego, CA.

Curtis Major graduated from Point Arena in California, and also attended College in San Diego. After a honeymoon in Costa Rica, the Majors currently reside in San Diego, California.
