AUSABLE FORKS — Cheri Goodman of AuSable Forks and George and Arlene Goodman of Port Kent announce the engagement of their daughter, Trista, of 14 Grove Road, AuSable Forks, to Michael C. Cross, also of Grove Road. He is the son of Michael and Karen Cross of AuSable Forks.
Trista Goodman graduated from AuSable Valley Central School in 2003 and attended Clinton Community College. She is a dental assistant at Adirondack Dental in Lake Placid.
Michael Cross graduated from Seton Catholic Central School in 2001 and from Clinton Community College in 2004 with an associate degree in criminal justice. He is employed by the New York State Department of Corrections as an officer at Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora.
A July 24 wedding is planned.
