Jay, Black Brook to hold joint meeting
JAY — The towns of Jay and Black Brook will hold a combined joint council meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Town of Jay Community Center conference room.
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the joint sewer contract.
Westport School Board to meet on budget
WESTPORT — The Westport Central School Board will hold a special meeting and budget workshop at 6 p.m. Monday in the cafeteria.
Agenda items include budget discussion with a public question and answer session, recognition of the Westport Central School boys and girls basketball teams and any other business that may come before the board.
All board meetings are open to the public.
Peru Youth Commission holding signups
PERU — The Town of Peru Youth Commission will hold registration for all summer and fall activities from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 26, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 27.
The registration is open to Peru residents only, with activities available for children who have completed kindergarten and older.
Additional activities include T-ball for ages 5 and 6 and Mini Mite Soccer for ages 4 and 5.
The Youth Commission will be hiring Peru teens ages 14 and older. Applications will be available at signups.

AVCS School Board plans agenda
CLINTONVILLE — The AuSable Valley Central School Board will meet at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Middle-High School auditorium in Clintonville.
It is anticipated that the meeting will begin with presentations, followed by an executive session, then the regular session.
The board will consider special-education recommendations, adopting the 2010-11 school calendar, nominee for CVES Board of Education member, approval of AuSable Valley Central School District Technology Plan, accepting donations, approval of Internal Audit Function Risk Assessment Update and discuss the 2010-11 budget.
The meeting is open to all.
