New rape charges levied

MALONE — A village man was charged with three counts of rape for the second time in 10 days Wednesday, allegedly involving a second 14-year-old girl, Malone Village Police said.

Christopher L. Joiner, 20, of 28 Clay St., Malone, faces three counts of second-degree rape and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, police said.

He was arraigned before Malone Town Justice Michael Lamitie and taken to Franklin County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 insurance bond.

Joiner had been arrested Dec. 23, 2012, and charged with three counts of second-degree rape and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child involving a different girl, Malone-based State Police said.

Then, he had lived in Constable.

In that case, Constable Town Justice Diane Wisneskey jailed him on $10,000 cash bail and $20,000 insurance bond.

Joiner is scheduled to reappear in Constable Town Court on Wednesday.

FYI...
  • computer.jpg In fan fiction, your favorite characters do what you want them to

When J.J. Abrams took over the "Star Trek" franchise in 2009, he boldly went where the series hadn't gone before — romantically — pairing Uhura with Spock. Many fans disliked the change. Some loved it. Others didn't care, because they just wanted to see Kirk and Spock make out.
