SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) — Vermont's largest city has a new snowfall record.
The National Weather Service says 32.5 inches of snow fell at the Burlington International Airport during the weekend storm.
The Burlington Free Press says the storm also set single-day snow records for Jan. 2 and Jan. 3.
The Saturday-Sunday storm eclipsed the previous record, the Christmas blizzard of 1969 that dropped 29.8 inches on the city.
But some areas east of the Green Mountains received little snow.
