City accident results in injury

PLATTSBURGH — Ruth A. Randa, 40, of West Chazy was treated at CVPH Medical Center for a minor hip injury she suffered in a two-car accident at the corner of Peru and Hamilton streets in Plattsburgh at about 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Randa was a passenger in a car driven by Jarred S. Vislocky, 18, of Peru, who was ticketed for failure to yield and unlicensed operation. Vislocky collided with a car driven by Jennifer R. Burns, 18, of Plattsburgh.

Randa was released after treatment. Traffic in that area was detoured and delayed.
