One person killed in Tupper Lake accident

TUPPER LAKE — State Police were investigating a one-car accident in which at least one person was killed Tuesday.

State Police, Tupper Lake Rescue Squad and the Tupper Lake Fire Department were called to the accident at about 1:15 p.m.

The accident is reported to have occurred on Route 30 in the vicinity of Rock Island Bay, and it is believed that the person who died was transported to a hospital via North Country Life Flight.

State Police were still investigating the accident late Tuesday night.

No further information was available Tuesday.
