TICONDEROGA — A man officials have deemed a "sexually violent offender" has been jailed again, this time charged with violating the terms of his registry requirements.
Police say Level 3 offender Thomas I. Holland moved from his former Ticonderoga residence and failed to tell authorities.
According to the state Sex-Offender Registry, authorities last confirmed the 30-year-old's Schuyler Street address in August.
Since that time, Ticonderoga Town Police said, Holland was allegedly found living in the Mineville-Witherbee area.
He was arrested on a felony charge of failure to change a registered address.
After being arraigned on the charge Wednesday, Holland was sent to Essex County Jail, unable to pay $2,000 cash bail or $4,000 bond.
Holland is required to register as a sex-offender based on his May 1999 conviction for repeatedly raping a 10-year-old girl.
