Jay to begin overnight-parking ban
JAY — The Town of Jay is reminding residents that the local law banning overnight parking will be strictly enforced Nov. 1 through April 1, 2010.
The local law bans parking on all town roads, streets, drives, lanes and avenues of the Town of Jay between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. daily.
Violators' vehicles will be towed at the owners' expense.
Saranac School Board meeting planned
DANNEMORA — The Saranac Central School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday in Dannemora.
Some of the items on the agenda include the adoption of a 2010-11 budget-development calendar; a report on the facility, energy and technology study; and contract awards.
A complete agenda is available at the District Office and on the Web site at www.saranac.org.
The meeting is open to all.
Lake Placid School Board meeting set
LAKE PLACID — The Lake Placid Central School Board will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Administrative Services Center, 50 Cummings Road.
The agenda includes a superintendent's report and special-education report.
The meeting is open to the public.
