Keeseville man charged with sex abuse

KEESEVILLE — A Keeseville man has been charged with sexually abusing a 5-year-old child.

State Police based in Keeseville arrested Warren Brant, 27, at about noon Wednesday and charged him with two counts of first-degree sexual abuse and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

The offenses allegedly occurred twice within the past three to four months at different locations in the Town of Chesterfield.

Brant is being held at Essex County Jail, unable to post $2,500 bail or $5,000 bond.

No further information was available Thursday.
