Earthquake shakes Lyon Mountain

LYON MOUNTAIN — A 2.6-magnitude earthquake shook Lyon Mountain early Saturday but most residents slept through the minor movement.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, only one person in the immediate area reported having felt the 2:45 a.m. quake.

The quake was considered very minor.

No damage was reported.
