Snow, sleet, freezing rain into early Monday

PLATTSBURGH — The National Weather Service in Burlington, Vt., has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for our region through early Monday.

According to meteorologists, wintry precipitation is expected from 10 tonight through about 7 Monday morning. Snow, sleet and freezing rain are possible with accumulations of about 1 to 3 inches.

Slick roads are predicted. In mountain regions, downed trees and power outages are possible.
