SARANAC LAKE — The official election tally came in from Saranac Lake Village Clerk Kareen Tyler early Wednesday with no change in results.
In the mayoral contest, Democrat Clyde Rabideau earned 681 votes, besting GOP contender Jeff Branch with 577.
Vote totals for the newly elected trustees were: Democrat Tom Catillaz, 639 votes, and Republican Elias “Allie” Pelletieri, 636 votes.
Incumbent Susan Waters, a Democrat, was not re-elected, receiving 553 votes.
Trustee candidates Diana Howard, a Republican, and independent Shawn Boyer earned 453 and 172 votes, respectively.
Republican candidates for village justice Kenneth McLaughlin and Thomas Glover won seats on the bench, with 637 and 627 votes, respectively, beating incumbent Democrat Paul Herrmann, with 541 votes, and Jon Vinograd, with 506.
The election presents Rabideau with a Republican majority on the Village Board.
