Joint session set for Wednesday in Keeseville

KEESEVILLE — The Keeseville Dissolution Committee will meet with officials from the Village of Keeseville and towns of Chesterfield and AuSable, along with Fairweather Consulting, at 5 p.m. Wednesday to review the status of the dissolution study.

That session, open to the public, will take place at the Keeseville Elks Lodge at 1 Elk St. in the village.

A public meeting will follow at 7 p.m. at the Keeseville Fire Station, 8 Pleasant St., to further discuss the findings.

The public is urged to attend.

    Shayla Taylor was so far along in labor that her nurses at Moore Medical Center decided not to move her when Monday's tornado hit. They waited out the storm in an operating room, where the wall disappeared as the tornado hit the building.
