Tractor Pull roars to life today

MALONE — A lot of crowing is going on at the Franklin County Fair.

Qualifying rounds for the Rooster Crowing Contest continue today; finals are Saturday.

The popular Truck and Tractor Pull gets roaring at noon today; admission is $10. 

The fair continues through next Sunday. 

Here are some highlights: 

TODAY

8 a.m.:

4-H Horse Show, riding and gymkhana; and 4-H Dairy Goat Show (inside arena).

10 a.m.:

Poultry Show.

11 a.m.:

Rooster Crowing Contest.

Noon:

Truck and Tractor Pull; admission, $10.

4 to 6 p.m.:

YMCA Franklin County has Talent contest eliminations (inside arena).

MONDAY

(Children’s Day, reduced midway prices until 5 p.m.)

7 a.m.:

English Horse Show (outside arena).

9 a.m.:

4-H Cloverbud Fitting and Presentation Colored Breeds Cattle Show.

9:30 a.m.:

4-H Youth Showmanship and Conformation Colored Breeds Cattle Show.

10 a.m.:

Poultry Show.

11 a.m.:

Rooster Crowing Contest.

6 p.m.:

Demolition Derby finals; admission, $10.
