Non-perishable food collection fundraiser. Plattsburgh State Upward Bound students will be collecting canned and non-perishable food items in the neighborhoods nearby the Plattsburgh State campus. Peru Primary and Peru Intermediate schools. Registration for first-time students is Aug. 20 between 7:40 a.m. and 2:20 p.m. If you have not already called for a screening appointment, do so. Children registering for kindergarten must be 5 years of age by Dec. 1. Call Peru Primary at 643-6100 or Peru Intermediate at 643-6200 to schedule a time to bring your child. A copy of the birth certificate and immunization record is required.
