Blasting planned for Route 22 in Willsboro
WILLSBORO — Blasting is scheduled for this week as part of the ongoing construction project to rehabilitate Route 22 from Station Road to Reber Road.
Blasts are anticipated to occur each day, in the early to mid-afternoon hours, with completion of blasting operations expected by the end of the week.
Blasting is being done to remove rock from the work area.
Workshops teach yoga for inner balance
Space is still available at two Hatha yoga workshops in Ballroom B of Angell Student Center at Plattsburgh State.
Taught by Swami Ramananda of the Integral Yoga Institute in New York City, the events are so-sponsored by ADK Yoga and the Institute for Public Life at Plattsburgh State.
Deepening your Practice: Hatha Yoga as a Tool for Self-Discovery, $35, is 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
Making Peace During Difficult Times with Ourselves, Each Other and Our World, $50, is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Both workshops cost $75, and full payment is required in advance.
Admission is free for a limited number of Plattsburgh State students, who are expected to attend the entire session. Inquire at the Angell Student Center desk.
