PSU accepting spring '11 applications

PLATTSBURGH — Plattsburgh State is now accepting applications for the spring 2011 term.

Prospective undergraduate students who apply by Nov. 1 will receive optimal consideration for admission.

In addition, the college is accepting spring 2011 applications for these graduate programs: M.S.Ed. Special Education, M.S.Ed. Literacy Education, C.A.S. Educational Leadership (main and branch campus), M.S. Mental Health Counseling, M.S. Student Affairs/Professional Practice, C.A.S. School Counselor (main and branch campus) and M.S. Leadership (part-time applicants only — main and branch campus).

The deadline for graduate applications is Oct. 15.

Lake Placid School Board meeting set

LAKE PLACID — The Lake Placid Central School Board will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Administrative Services Center, 50 Cummings Road, Lake Placid.

Included on the agenda are committee reports and resolution for credit card.

An executive session is anticipated on special education and personnel.

Westport School Board agenda planned

WESTPORT — The Westport Central School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday in the library.

Agenda items include a presentation by school attorney Jacqueline Kelleher, financial reports and extracurricular appointments.

All board meetings are open to the public.
