Fundraiser meals slated for Sunday

PLATTSBURGH — Some breakfast fundraisers and a harvest dinner coming up this Sunday were mistakenly listed in the "Some weekend ideas" for this past Sunday.

Here is the correct information:

Holy Angel's Church in Altona will host its Roast-turkey and Ham Harvest Dinner Buffet from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Holy Angel's Hall, 524 Devils Den Road. Cost is $9 for adults; $4 for children; and free for those younger than 5. There will be raffles, a country store and craft tables. Take-outs will be available. To reserve a table to sell crafts, call 236-5848.

Rouses Point Volunteer Fire Department's All-you-can-eat Breakfast is 8 a.m. to noon Sunday at the fire station on Lake Street. The meal includes: eggs, pancakes, ham, sausage, home fries, toast, orange juice, coffee, baked beans and fruit cocktail. Cost is $8 for adults; $6 for ages 6 through 12; and free for younger than 6.

And the Fourth Sunday Breakfast, hosted by the Peru Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars and Auxiliary, 710 Pleasant St. (Route 22B), is 9 a.m. to noon Sunday. The meal includes bacon, eggs, biscuits, sausage gravy, corn-beef hash, juice and coffee.
