Westport School Board calls special meeting
WESTPORT -- The Westport Central School Board will hold a special meeting at 8 a.m. Tuesday in the superintendent's office.
The board will set the tax levy.
The meeting is open to the public.
CCC Student Affairs Office wins award
PLATTSBURGH -- Clinton Community College's Office of Student Affairs been honored by the Office of University Life at SUNY System Administration.
This is the second year the Student Services Team has received an award for Outstanding Student Affairs Programs of the State University of New York.
"This is wonderful news," Interim President Frederick Woodward said in a news release. "Clinton has placed a good deal of attention on providing a campus environment that meets student needs and wishes. The Student Affairs staff has once again gone above and beyond to meet this challenge and continue Clinton's reputation as a student-focused institution." CCC received its award in the category of Assessment for the Athletic Program Review.
The team responsible for developing the program is Dr. Todd Roenbeck, director of athletics; Maureen Provost, assistant to athletic director; Eric Arnold, men's soccer coach; Donna Dixon, women's soccer and basketball coach; Kevin Daugherty, men's basketball coach; Tom Neale, baseball coach; Amanda Deyoe, softball coach; and Angie Alphonso, athletic trainer.
Clinton County Legislature meeting set for Wednesday
PLATTSBURGH -- The Clinton County Legislature will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Legislative Chambers, 137 Margaret St., Plattsburgh.
Among the resolutions to be acted upon are: an amendment to the fees for the recording, entering, indexing and endorsing a certificate on any instrument in the County Clerk's Office, a contract with NTS Data Services, LLC, and a supplemental lease agreement with the U.S. General Services Administration.
All meetings are open to the public.
BOCES meeting to be held in Malone
MALONE -- The regular meeting of the Board of Cooperative Educational Services of Franklin, Essex and Hamilton Counties is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28.
The meeting, open to all, will be held at the Franklin Academy High School Library Media Center.
Town discusses zoning plan
PLATTSBURGH -- The Town of Plattsburgh Comprehensive Plan Update Committee will convene at 5 p.m. Thursday, for its second meeting to discuss the Town Comprehensive Plan.
This meeting is open to the public.

WILLSBORO -- Willsboro Central School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the conference room.

MOOERS -- The Northeastern Clinton Central School Board will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Mooers Elementary.
The board will appoint personnel.
The meeting is open to all.
