Saranac School District schedules meeting
DANNEMORA -- The Saranac Central School District has scheduled a special budget meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, at the District Office in Dannemora. The board contemplates convening an executive session for the purpose of discussing the employment history of particular person(s). The meeting should reconvene at approximately 7:30 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to continue the discussion of the proposed 2008-09 budget. A complete agenda is available at the District Office or on the Web site at www.saranac.org.
The meeting is open to the public.
Clinton County Legislature meeting Wednesday
PLATTSBURGH -- The Clinton County Legislature will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, in the Legislative Chambers, 137 Margaret St., Plattsburgh. Among the resolutions to be acted upon are: authorizing the clerk of the Clinton County Legislature to advertise for two Public Hearings regarding a grant application to be submitted to the Governor's Office for Small Cities, awarding bids for compound, solid runway and taxiway de-icing/anti-icing, and authorizing a contract with Allegiant Air.
All meetings are open to the public.
Two seats open on Willsboro School Board
WILLSBORO -- The Willsboro Central School Board will have two vacancies July 1, to fill the positions held by Andrea Robare and Craig Jackson.
Petition forms may be obtained from the district clerk at the Willsboro Central School District Office, 29 School Lane; online at www.willsborocsd.org or by calling 963-4456, Ext. 204, and request that a petition be mailed to you.
Petitions must be submitted between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. no later than Monday, April 14.
