City alters trash pickup due to Monday holiday

PLATTSBURGH — There will be no garbage pickup by the City of Plattsburgh Public Works Department on Monday, due to Martin Luther King Day.

Monday’s trash will be collected on Tuesday, and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday’s collections will be done on as normally scheduled.

Willsboro Central School Board to meet Tuesday

WILLSBORO — The Willsboro Central School Board will hold its regular meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, in the conference room.

Agenda items include business and finance, personnel and policies.

The public is welcome.

Jay codes office hours to change

JAY — Town of Jay Code Enforcement Officer John Hudson has announced a change in office hours starting Feb. 6 at the Town of Jay Community Center, located on the second floor at 11 School Lane, AuSable Forks.

The new code-enforcement hours will be 10 a.m. to noon or by appointment.

Fee schedules and applications will be available outside the Supervisor’s Office from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and on the Town of Jay Website @www.townofjay.com, under Government Departments and Building and Code Enforcement.
