Common Council agenda planned out

PLATTSBURGH — The City of Plattsburgh Common Council will take action on several items at tonight's meeting.

Among them are approving a request from the Autism Awareness Committee to hold the annual walk on U.S. Oval from 11 to 11:45 a.m. April 28 on the inside lane, and a request to allow the Municipal Lighting Department to advertise for sealed bids to purchase revenue electric meters.

The meeting begins with a work session at 5 p.m., followed by the regular meeting at 5:30 p.m.

Both meetings are open to the public.

Rouses Point Board working on budget

ROUSES POINT — Rouses Point Village Board will hold a budget meeting at 4:45 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, in the upstairs meeting room at the Village Office.

The purpose of this meeting is to review the tentative 2012-13 budget.

This meeting is open to the public.
